All State Team of Post Commanders and Quartermasters
Each member of the All State Team of Post Commanders will receive an All State Post Commander’s cap, an All State Post Commander’s Diamond Lapel Pin and $60.00 to help defray expenses of attending the Department Convention.
Being cognizant of the important role of the Post Quartermaster in membership, the All State Team of Post Quartermasters who served the Commanders making the All State Team of Post Commanders, will receive an All State Post Quartermaster’s cap, Ruby Lapel Pin and $60.00 to help defray expenses of attending the Department Convention.
The All State Post Commanders and Quartermasters must be present at the Department Convention to receive the cash award. Post Commanders and Quartermasters will be required to personally pick up and sign their own vouchers at the Department Convention. Vouchers will not be mailed.
All State Post Commanders and Quartermasters Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
1 A Post must report over 100% membership as of 16 May 2008 (As recorded at Department Headquarters and compared to National’s 30 June 2007 Membership Report).
2 Community Activity Reports for 1 May 2007 to 31 October 2007 and 1 November 2007 to 30 April 2008 must be received at Department Headquarters prior to 15 November 2007 and 16 May 2008 respectively.
3 Post must be Inspected prior to 30 April 2008 and the Inspection Report received by the Department Inspector prior to 16 May 2008.
4 Post must purchase a minimum of 500 poppies from the Department of New York.
5 Post Trustee Reports for 30 September 2007, 31 December 2007, and 30 March 2008 must be received in Department headquarters prior to 18 May 2008.
Points:
à 500 Points for each member over 100%.
à 500 Points for each new member or reinstated member (annual or life).
à 500 Points for contributing to State Commander’s Special Project
Total point accumulation will be used to determine which Post Commanders will receive the All State Awards once the minimum requirements have been met. The total number of All State Awards will be limited to 100 and will be allocated to each Membership Division as shown below (NOTE * * * ) "Women Veterans Recruitment Award" & "Individual Women's Recruitment Award" If not enough Posts qualify in a division, the State Commander may allocate the unused awards to other Divisions.
NOTE * * * * SPECIAL DRAWINGS at STATE CONVENTION
For every three (3) eligible Women Veterans a Post signs up between 1 July 2007 & 16 May 2008...that Post will be entered in a drawing for $150.00 and these drawings will be District designated. Example: If a Post signs up six (6) new female members, that Post will be entered twice, Etc. Etc..... There will be only one winner per District.
NOTE * * * * INDIVIDUAL WOMEN'S RECRUITER AWARD
A special award will be presented at the State Convention for $250 to the VFW Member that recruits the highest number of eligible Female Veterans. This award is for the individual that recruits the most female veterans from July 1, 2007 through May 16, 2008. In the event of a tie the recruiter names will placed in a drawing for the award.
